She’s less than a year off 60, but Jerry Hall can still give the best of them a run for their money when it comes to raising the glamour stakes.
Appearing at the Steiger Award Ceremony in Hattingen, Germany, on Friday, the life-long beauty showed off her enviably svelte figure in a form-fitting leopard-print gown.
While the sweeping floor-length hem meant that her lengthy pins weren’t on display, the strapless design gave Jerry the perfect chance to exhibit her lean shoulders and age-defying décolletage.
The mother-of-four wore her trademark platinum locks long and loose, letting the gentle waves cascade down her back. When it came to her make-up, she kept it simple, using just a touch of foundation and mascara, coupled with an eye-catching red lip.
Working the red carpet, she posed with a variety of stars, including former adult actress Dolly Buster, and Buzz Aldrin – the second person to walk on the moon.
Jerry’s looks have always had the men chasing after her, including her ex-husband and partner-of-21-years, Mick Jagger. It’s been 16 years since they split, but on Thursday she opened up to the Daily Mail about their enduring friendship.
Only the other week they had lunch together to celebrate their eldest son James’s 29th birthday with his two sisters Elizabeth, 30, and Georgia May and younger 16-year-old brother Gabriel.
Actually, we really like each other,’ she said. ‘We’ve always been friends. Aside from being married for 20 years and having four children we always had a good laugh. We have friends in common and we get on really well. He’s very bright and funny and he’s actually a great friend.’
Their marriage crumbled when she discovered Brazilian model Luciana Morad was carrying his baby.
But now happily dating distinguished scientist Professor Armand Leroi, she insists it’s all water under the bridge.
She said: ‘That was such a long time ago now – 16 years. I can’t even remember the bad times now. You move on. Mick and I had many, many, many happy times. We had years and years of lots of fun. Things sometimes just don’t last forever, do they? People change.’
